Thank you for your
interest in our CUSD Preschool program! Before submitting an Online Preschool
Application, please read below for important information regarding our
enrollment process.

Preschool Registration and Enrollment Process for the California State-Funded Program (CSPP) for the 2024-2025 school year:

Step 1: Enroll your child in AIR
by completing an Online New Student Enrollment.
- Be sure to select Preschool Program (Registration) as the grade level or program for your child. If the incorrect option is selected, our office will not be able to assign a 7-digit Student ID for your child.
Once you enroll your child in AIR, you will receive an
email within 48 hours with your child’s new Student ID Number.
Step 2: Use your child’s Student ID Number to submit an Online
Preschool Application by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page you will receive an email upon submission with a confirmation and links to
download additional documents required to complete your child’s
registration.
Step 3: Families will be notified
during the enrollment session/appointment if their child has qualified for the
CSPP. Families will be notified via mail with a Notice of Action letter on
their placement for the 2024-25 school year within 30 days of their income qualification.
Other Important Information Our PK classrooms serve children ages 3 & 4. Children must be 3 years old by 12/1/24 to enroll for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please note that every attempt is made to honor placement requests, but placements are contingent on program availability.
School site changes may occur before the start of the school year depending on enrollment.
Preschool Registration and Enrollment
Process for the Tuition-Based Program:

Step 1: Enroll your child in AIR by completing an Online New Student Enrollment. Once you enroll your child in AIR, you will receive an email within 48 hours with your child’s new Student ID Number.
Step 2: Using your child’s 7-digit student ID, submit an Online Preschool Application by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page and indicate your preference for a preschool program (including which campus, which session, and how many days a week). You may indicate both first-choice and second-choice preferences. Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email noting that your Online Preschool Application was received.
Step 3: Early Childhood Programs (ECP) staff will review the application and the current openings at the requested school site. If the requested preschool program is available, your child will be tentatively placed into the class, and you will be notified by email. This email will include an acceptance letter with additional directions to finalize the enrollment process.
If your first-choice requested preschool program is not available, but your second choice is, your child will be tentatively placed into the class and you will be notified by email. This email will include an acceptance letter with additional directions to finalize the enrollment process.
If neither of the requested programs is available, you will receive an email informing you that your requested programming is unavailable. This email will contain information for the next steps.
Step 4: Families will finalize preschool enrollment and registration by submitting all of the required documents and payment within 30 days of receiving the acceptance letter.Placement Priorities:
Priority is given to returning families for the first two weeks of open enrollment. For the 2024-2025 school year, this will take place from Wednesday, January 10th to Friday, January 19th, 2024.
Other Important Information for the 2023-2024 school year:
Our PK classrooms serve children ages 3 & 4. Children must be 3 years old by 12/1/23 to enroll. Children must be 3 years old to attend. For children turning 3 years old after the first day of the school year, the child’s first day of school may be on or after their 3rd birthday*.
*Children who turn 3 years old by September 30, 2023, may enroll now during open enrollment.
*For children turning 3 years old on or after October 1, 2023, enrollment and registration can commence a month before the child’s 3rd birthday.
There is a sibling discount of 25% off the regular fee price (the second child will be applied a discounted rate).
Please note that every attempt is made to honor first-choice or second-choice requests, but placements are contingent on program availability.
School site changes may occur before the start of the school year depending on enrollment.
The last day to enroll in preschool for the 2023-2024 school year will be on Friday, March 29th, 2024.
Other Important Information for the 2024-2025 school year:
Our PK classrooms serve children ages 3 & 4. Children must be 3 years old by 12/1/24 (date of birth no later than 12/1/21) to enroll.
There is a sibling discount of 25% off the regular fee price (the second child will be applied a discounted rate).
Please note that every attempt is made to honor first-choice or second-choice requests, but placements are contingent on program availability.
School site changes may occur before the start of the school year depending on enrollment.
The last day to enroll in preschool for the 2024-2025 school year will be on Friday, April 4th, 2025.
