Per Board Policy 1240 - Volunteer Assistance (Appendix D) - All unpaid coaches must become official Tier I Volunteers.

In addition to being fingerprinted, all coaches must also have the certifications listed below:

1. Current CPR, First Aid, & AED Certification
2. NFHS Concussion in Sports Certification
3. NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification
4. NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification
5. NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certification

Effective July 1, 2026, all Volunteer Coaches must also complete Mandated Reporter Training by September 30th of every school year. To access this training, follow the instructions below:
