to Capistrano Unified School District Pre-Registration for Tier I
Volunteers, which includes all unpaid coaches. Per Board Policy 1240 - Volunteer Assistance (Appendix D) - All unpaid coaches must become official Tier I Volunteers.
In addition to being fingerprinted, volunteer coaches must also have the certifications listed below:
- Current CPR, First Aid, & AED
Certification
- NFHS Concussion Training Certification
- NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification
- NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification
- NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certification
