Welcome to Capistrano Unified School District Pre-Registration for Tier I Volunteers.

Dear Volunteer,

Thank you for registering! To complete your Tier 1 Volunteer clearance, please follow these next steps:

Fingerprinting: Print and fill out the attached form, then bring it to any Live Scan location.

As of July 1, 2026, All Tier 1 Volunteers must complete Mandated Reporter Training by September 30th of every school year. Follow the instructions below to access this training:

How to Self-Register and Complete Your Training

To self-register, click on the following link: ASCIP E-Learning Self-Registration

1. Under Member District, click on the down arrow on the right and choose Capistrano Unified School District and click Next (selecting a site/location is optional)
2. Enter your First and Last name
3. Click on the box titled New Hire and select Volunteer
4. Enter your personal email address in the primary email address field
5. Click Save
6. Your account will be reviewed by a district administrator
7. Once your account has been approved, you’ll receive a welcome email from ehelp@ascip.org with a link that is active for 24 hours
8. Once you click on the link, you’ll need to set up your 8-character password with one upper case letter, one lower case letter, a number and a unique character and then click that you acknowledge the terms
9. My Dashboard page will have the Mandated Reporter course assigned to you

The course has audio, therefore, you will need to turn up your speakers
