Welcome to Capistrano Unified School District Pre-Registration for Tier I Volunteers, which includes all unpaid coaches. Per Board Policy 1240 - Volunteer Assistance (Appendix D) - All unpaid coaches must become official Tier I Volunteers.

In addition to being fingerprinted, volunteer coaches must also have the certifications listed below:

1. Current CPR, First Aid, & AED Certification
2. NFHS Concussion Training Certification
3. NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification
4. NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification
5. NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Certification

Effective July 1, 2026, all Tier 1 Volunteers and Volunteer Coaches must also complete Mandated Reporter Training by September 30th of every school year. To access this training, follow the instructions below:

1. Access the Portal: Click here to visit the ASCIP website.
2. Request Access: Click on the link titled “Password Reset and Welcome Email Help.”
3. Log In: Follow the instructions sent to your email to log in and begin the course

To begin the Tier I volunteer application process, enter your email address. Once you click save, a link will be sent to your email for verification. Please follow the steps completely so your Tier I volunteer application can be processed in a timely manner.
